Role and Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct large-scale data analysis of internally or externally generated in vitro/in vivo data
- Assist project or platform teams in understanding experimental results and making critical decisions
Computational and Data Analysis:
- Develop computational capabilities in Python, R, and Perl
- Analyze RNA molecules and establish relationships with in vitro/in vivo potencies and properties
- Integrate data from different organizations and create detailed reports/analysis of off-target effects and RNASeq data
- Create reports/analysis of external patent/literature data package to assist ongoing projects/platforms/initiatives
- Support ongoing projects through data integration and visualization
- Support discovery projects through data analysis and algorithm development
Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills:
Participate in the evaluation of external and internal capabilities and facilitate collaborations with external parties
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in an interdisciplinary environment
Successfully interact with senior technical engineering and scientific personnel
Experience working in a diverse networked technical organization with proven skills to manage suppliers and alliance partners
Qualifications:
- B. S./M. S. in computational chemistry / cheminformatics / computer sciences / statistics / mathematics or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of biology and chemistry concepts
