Job Title: Project Associate I: 02 posts
Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry
Desirable experience: Candidates having an M. Sc. with a specialization in Organic Chemistry and sound knowledge in organic synthesis and chemical process development are desirable. Candidates having research experience in academia or industry will be preferred. The selected candidate will have to work on the project entitled “Innovative Processes and Technologies for Crop Protection Chemicals [Agromission-2]”. The candidate will work on organic synthesis, agrochemicals/intermediates, characterization of organic molecules, reaction optimization, process development, and demonstration of the above processes.
Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- pm + HRA as per CSIR guidelines.
Age: (As on the last date of receipt of applications through e-mail, i.e. 15/05/2023), maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Duration: These positions are purely temporary for the period of One year, and extendable on a performance basis
up to 31/03/2026 or till the project completion date whichever is earlier. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.Interested candidates are requested to send the application form along with necessary documents for scrutiny through e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. Applications received by email will be scrutinized based on certain criteria and only shortlisted candidates who are eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend the interview using online mode, i.e., Skype. The details of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email.
The candidates are requested to send their CV with the following details: (1) Full name and postal address with an e-mail address, contact no., Skype id, etc., (2) Proof of date of birth, (3) Details of educational qualifications and experience (if any) together with the scanned copies of certificates/ testimonials.

Since the document verification process cannot be followed in the interviews online mode, all selections would be provisional subject to verification of all relevant documents. In case of any deficiency of any type in the documents, the candidature would automatically stand cancelled any time.
