Job Title: Contracts Lead or Manager – Lubes Value Chain (Additives & Basestock)
Location: Bengaluru, KA, IN
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical) or Master’s /
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry) from a recognized university with a CGPA score of 6 and above
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in lubricant additives and base oil
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and knowledge of “Total System Cost” principles
- Expertise in Procurement process related to lubricant additives, base oil
- Knowledge of general industry and global market
- Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills
- Knowledge of PtP (Purchase to Pay) process, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
- Ability to work across different cultures and organizations
- Fast learner and results/customer oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Job Role Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Procurement process execution
- Identify business value and agreement rationalization opportunities within the portfolio
- Execute bids and conduct techno-commercial negotiations
- Provide portfolio-specific market intelligence to peers and business lines
- Steward tactical business relationship for key portfolio activities
- Engage in supplier relationship management activities
- Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements (SAP friendly)
- Resolve invoice and purchase orders related recycle by identifying and eliminating root causes
- Support other Contract Leads/Managers when required
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of lubricant additives, base oil – drive value, efficiency and market advantage while ensuring operational integrity
- Develop total system cost based on strategies and category plans
- Prepare Procurement plans and awards for review and approval
- Supplier relationship management
- Contract administration/management activities
