Job Title: Materials Science Education Specialist – Hyderabad
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Eligibility Criteria:
- A degree in chemistry, materials science, physics or a related field
- Experience with the application of at least one of the following groups of simulation methods for materials science or chemistry:
- Quantum mechanics (molecular or periodic)Molecular dynamics (all-atom or coarse-
- grained)
- Machine learning, chemical informatics, and data analysis
- Experience with writing about or teaching scientific concepts to a broad audience
Schrödinger is a science and technology leader with over 25 years of experience developing software solutions for quantum mechanics, molecular dynamics, and machine learning-based chemical simulation and prediction.

What you’ll do:
- Test, update, and maintain educational content in our suite of materials science tutorials and online courses
- Work closely with the materials science education team to learn and communicate the functionality of the materials science tools across all application areas
- Provide critical feedback on new educational content and software functionality
- Design approaches to train experimental chemists and materials scientists in introductory materials modeling concepts
- You can expect to gain high proficiency with Schrödinger simulation software that is applied to critical technology areas, including consumer goods, automotive, aerospace, and specialty chemicals
