Job Title: Research Assistant [54954952]
Location: Navi Mumbai
Job Description:
- Carry out delegated technical occupations of conducting experiments and maintenance of equipment/units laboratory/pilot plant and document information with diligence.
- Setup reactor assemblies /experimental set ups to execute tests/experiments.
- Carry out preparation/synthesis of samples in laboratory scale.
- Performing structural, textural & mechanical testing/ characterization utilizing relevant equipment like XRD,
- Physisorption/chemisorption unit, TPD, microscopy, Thermal analyzer, IR/UV-Visible spectrometer, GC, HPLC etc..
- Upkeep of both reactors & analytical tools and use log in laboratory/pilot plant
- Maintain listing of spares / consumables laboratory and commence process of replenishment
Education Requirement :
MSc (preferable) in chemistry/biology
Experience Requirement :
Fresh to 3 years in Industrial Chemical laboratory or QA/QC laboratory.
Skills & Competencies :
- Follow applicable HSE processes / practices in conducting experiments & guarantee compliance with group members.
- Show high degree consciousness of environmental, website, statutory, IP regulations and adherence to them
- Manage chemicals and resources according to security standards while conducting experiments
- Know MSDS of chemicals being managed in experiments and also take sufficient measures to mitigate risks.
- Ensure safe working conditions in lab & pilot plant
- Ensure Decent housekeeping at work place
