Job Description
THERAPY MANAGER
Therapy Manager is responsible for efficiently managing the therapy area by effectively reaching out to customers, increasing product awareness, answering queries, and introducing new products. The role also involves maintaining customer focus, having industry knowledge, scheduling and planning calls, and personally visiting targeted doctors as per the agreed coverage list.
Role & Responsibilities for Therapy Manager:

Imbibe the product-related features/benefits, including scientific information, to effectively communicate with medical doctors and handle product-related customer queries.

Utilize customer-focused selling techniques (CSSP), continually assess the knowledge of customers, and strategize to maintain high customer confidence and knowledge of company products.

Maintain current, approved protocols (CSSP) and promotional materials to be included in sales presentations/detailing as Therapy Manager.

Contact customers regularly and deliver informative sales presentations based on customer needs.

Explore opportunities to develop new business in the assigned therapy area.

Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently through effective implementation of sales promotion strategies and scientific initiatives.

Constantly update your knowledge of disease and product areas to facilitate scientific discussions with stakeholders and enhance productivity levels.

Carry out product visibility and ancillary activities related to MSD’s products or those of partner companies as per agreements.

Explore opportunities to develop new business avenues for the assigned therapy area and territory.

Plan tactically to generate tertiary demand.

Execute fieldwork according to approved tour programs and report into the data management system as per company expectations.

Follow up on customer feedback and service requirements.

Handle special product campaigns and new product launches as per the company’s plans as Therapy Manager.

Cover nursing homes, clinics, and hospitals according to coverage requirements.

Assist in the collection of receivables, following company policy.

Collaborate with team colleagues to arrange speakers, displays, special programs, and CMEs to meet the educational needs of customers.
Qualifications & Skills for Therapy Manager:
- Degree in Sciences / B Pharm
- 3 or more year’s relevant experience
- Proven experience in articulating data-driven findings to various audience levels and translating these findings into actionable recommendations.
- Relevant experience in therapeutic segment
- Must have vaccine knowledge and selling experience at corporate hospitals with Peads, OGBynecs and Diabetologist , Pulmonologists and nephrology including trades.
