MKS Instruments is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Sidhrawali, India. This role is critical to our production operations and involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving process improvements using TPM principles.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading production staff, managing production schedules, and ensuring smooth and efficient shop floor operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, improve manufacturing processes, and maintain compliance with manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily manufacturing operations and production activities

Implement and manage production control systems, including scheduling, dispatching, and material planning

Approve material quantities and parts lists to support production timelines

Maintain and analyze production reports to monitor performance, scheduling accuracy, and methods

Lead, coach, and mentor production staff to meet operational goals and foster a high-performance team

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production issues and improve workflow efficiency
Qualifications and Skills Production Supervisor at MKS :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations or production supervision

Strong organizational and planning skills with a hands-on approach to shop floor management

Proven ability to work with specialized machinery and production equipment

Sound knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and the ability to promote a safety-first culture

Excellent leadership skills with a track record of successful team development

Experience in implementing TPM and driving measurable process improvements is preferred
