Position Description

Position Purpose
The Position will be responsible for the development of the assigned project within the given timeframe using new technology. This includes a thorough literature survey, bench-scale trials, preparation of SOPs, necessary documentation, and support in pilot and commercial plant
for successful technology transfer.Strategic Responsibilities of a Research Scientist
To understand the objective of project / chemistry / MSDS
•Search the additional literature as required.
•Inputs in planning of experiments/ glassware/ raw materials/ analysis
•To ensure proper maintenance of lab equipment.
•Proper house- keeping and use of PPE’s.
•Use relevant MSDS for safe handling and disposals of toxic chemicals
Operational Responsibilities of a Research Scientist
- Development of processes using flow chemistry (Micro / Meso–reactors).
- Finding suitable equipment for downstream operation for continuous manufacturing.
- To generate data for carrying out scale-up study using Design of Experiment mechanism.
Financial Responsibilities
- Actively participate in problem-solving sessions/training programs and drive coordination and communication within the team.
- Drive collaboration and cross-functional networking for the entire team.
People Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of knowledge sharing within the Team.
- Maintain healthy working relationships with the related teams and departments.
Education Qualifications of a Research Scientist
Master’s/Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from a reputed University/Institute. Fresher research scientist or experienced
Work Experience
Fresher Research Scientist, 0-8 years of industrial experience in agrochemicals/fine chemicals/pharma-API/specialty chemicals.

Functional Competencies
- Experience in Flow Chemistry/Technology
- Practical experience working on Flow reactors (Static and Dynamic)
