Summary of the Role
To perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities for the Dahej Plant. Perform Quality Management system activities, specifically leading the development and standardization of Quality management system processes, Coordination of Interna/external certification audit programs. implement continuous improvements in Safety, Quality and Operation.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Responsible for the creation and revision of standard operating procedures, work instructions, or job aids for Quality control processes.
- Accountable for reviewing the incoming, in-process, and final product data using statistical tools and providing data-driven insights for product and process improvements.
- Drive the process improvements to improve operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost.
- Responsible for the Validation, Calibration, and measurement system programs. Drive new programs that are implemented from Global QA to Dahej.
- Define & implement process improvements to improve operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost.
- Perform Quality assurance audits, lead the internal audit programs across the teams as part of the Quality management system requirement.
- Perform other required duties in addition to the essential responsibilities described above.
Requirements for Lubrizol Corporation Chemistry QA Job
Education / Certification
- Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Polymer Science / Chemical Engineerin,g preferably from a good university & minimum work experience of 8 to 12 years in the chemical Process industry or polymer compounding industry
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Minitab, SAP QA Module, LIMS
- Certified IMS, ISO 9001 lead or Internal auditor
Experience and Skills
- Experience in industry related to Batch operations, compounding –preferably solid / powder material.
- Strong knowledge in Quality management system documentation and implementation in plant environment.
- Able to work on documents, document validation process, and training for commissioning new production units.
- Excellent communication and practical human interaction skills.
- Ability to receive and effectively provide instructions with team spirit.
- Able to influence others to drive change.
