Job Posting: Senior Research Associate II
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Position Objective
- To plan and execute assigned projects within targeted timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers for smooth project execution.
- To design safe, scalable routes for formulation development in antioxidants, lipids, and coating technology.
- Help achieve Kemin’s vision of improving quality of life through Product & Process development following the Product Innovation Process (PIP).
- Perform scientific database searches to identify cost-effective routes for product development.
- Publication of scientific & technical articles in the Kemin database and scientific journals.
- Submit new innovative ideas for product or process development and collaborate with channel partners.
- Responsible for maintaining good laboratory and safety protocols.
Specific Responsibilities as Senior Research Associate II:
- Design experiments and protocols following the assigned pattern or DOE.
- Execution of projects as per the Product Innovation Process.
- Write technical articles based on research findings for publications.
- File patent disclosures based on research findings.
- Participate actively in team meetings and activities.
General
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research activities.
- Protect confidential information and adhere to safety policies.
- Conduct research activities with scientific integrity and good practices.
Qualifications for Senior Research Associate II:
- MSc/M.Tech in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Food Technology or related discipline with 3-4 years of experience.
- Fresh PhD from a reputable university or with a few years of experience.
