Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge in organic chemical synthesis with a PhD in chemistry, medicinal chemistry or related field
- Postdoc and experience abroad, crop protection, or pharmaceutical research advantageous but not essential
- Good English language skills
- Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm to drive innovations
- Interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
In our team Fungicide Chemistry, you will:
- Lead an organic synthesis laboratory team
- Design active ingredients, synthesize them with a laboratory team, analyze their biological activity, and use structure-activity relationships for new designs
- Drive multiparameter optimizations applying medicinal chemistry concepts
- Work at the forefront of chemistry, modeling, biology, agronomy, regulatory and intellectual property
- Stay updated with modern technologies and new developments, networking with academia and technology providers
