Position Overview

As a Production QC Operator at Allnex Mahad, you will play a vital role in ensuring that raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) meet the company’s high-quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting detailed quality assessments, developing internal quality assurance specifications, and collaborating with production teams to improve in-process product quality and performance.

This position requires a strong technical background in resin chemistry, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with quality control methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily QC activities to qualify raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG).
• Apply in-depth resin knowledge and expertise in test methods for evaluating RM and FG.
• Develop and implement internal quality control specifications to enhance product consistency.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve in-process quality issues.
• Utilize advanced analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatography (GC), Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), FT-IR, and other tools to ensure product compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of QC test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Analytical Chemistry.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 – 7 years of experience in quality control (QC) within the resin industry or related manufacturing sectors.
• Hands-on expertise in Gas Chromatography (GC), Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), FT-IR, and other advanced analytical instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective documentation and reporting.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to laboratory work and troubleshooting.
