Responsibilities:
- To drive Operational Efficiency Improvements projects by monitoring and tracking the overall equipment effectiveness.
- To identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Morale). Identify root cause of gap from actual production rate vs asking rate and create an action plan.
- Drive OEE by addressing the short stoppage and take immediate action plan.
- To monitor delivery of products in time as per desired target.
- Yield improvement of critical products with respect to financial gain and loss to reduce the operational cost of the plant.
- To prepare Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly MIS reports.
- To drive machine speed increase, cycle time reduction, and batch size increase projects at the site.
- To work upon KAIZEN and Quality Circle projects for improvement initiatives.
- Spread awareness about Kaizen and OE tools.
- To work upon manpower optimization and line balancing for waste reduction and throughput improvement.
- Standardization and optimization of changeover time for bottleneck areas.
- Establish daily work management system by conducting performance dialogue at Level 1 of the organization and ensuring its sustainability across the site.
- Any other additional work allocated by reporting authority.
- Supporting existing initiatives to keep improving (5S, Daily Work Management, Visual Matrix, Standard Work, etc.) and new initiatives to launch.
- Flexible with other operational activities as and when required.
