The Position

Location: Nanjangud, Mysore
Key Responsibilities
- Intermediate/Clean Room/SRP:
- Producing Intermediates/API/Solvent Recovery according to pre-approved instructions and recording the same in respective BPR/documents.
- Performing cleaning activities as per procedure and recording them in respective BCR/documents.
- Maintaining Intermediate/Pharma/SRP and equipment clean and appropriately disinfected.
- Ensuring the respective equipment is calibrated.
- Maintaining the respective equipment/area in clean condition.
- Updating equipment status boards online regarding equipment status.
- Identifying/labelling accessories (e.g., Scoop/Scrapper/Hose pipe/Filter bags/AHU filters/micron filter cartridges) and storing them in designated places.
- Identifying abnormalities, associated risks, and objectives by cross-verifying interlocks in equipment.
- Ensuring the availability of utilities and requesting the utility department for maintenance when required.
- Material Handling:
- Receiving raw materials from the stores and storing them in designated places.
- Identifying and storing intermediates/APIs in designated places.
- Maintaining the RM/intermediate/rejected material storage area clean and, when appropriate, disinfected.
- Maintaining accessories as per respective SOPs.
- Documentation:
- Indenting, receiving, and issuing required documents within the timeline according to pre-approved instructions.
- Ensuring that documents are recorded contemporaneously.
- Ensuring records are updated contemporaneously and facilitating the required documents.
- Ensuring the availability of calibration documents wherever required.
- Ensuring that documents are completed and signed.
- Updating status boards, logbooks, and daily documents online.
- Maintaining/destructing accessories as per respective SOPs and documenting them properly.
- Submitting completed documents within the timeline as per respective SOPs.
- Safety, Health, and Environment:
- Online monitoring of environmental conditions in the process area.
Person Profile
Qualification: Degree in Science / Graduate Engineers – Chemical/Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Chemistry/Chemical/PCM/Bio-Chemistry)
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in the API industry only.
