Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer with strong chromatography experience to deliver exceptional customer service in Hyderabad or Bangalore. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, qualification, repair, and preventive maintenance of LPLC and HPLC products, driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
As a Field Service Engineer (Chromatography) at Sartorius, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert service and customer support during field and in-house visits or dispatches for LPLC and HPLC product segments.
- Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks for chromatography equipment.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems accurately and efficiently, determining and implementing proper solutions.
- Producing timely and detailed service reports documenting all work performed.
- Ensuring the timely and correct documentation of all service processes according to company standards.
- Operating a vehicle in a safe manner and effectively utilizing field automation systems for service management.
- Following all company’s filed procedures and protocols to ensure compliance and quality service.
- Cooperating effectively with the technical team and sharing valuable information across the organization.
- Comprehending customer requirements thoroughly and making appropriate recommendations / briefings as needed.
- Contacting customers proactively concerning the progress of their service requests and ensuring clear communication.
- Building and maintaining positive and strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualification & Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Engineering degree in Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical and Instrumentation, or a similar relevant field.
- 3-7 years of proven field service experience, specifically with chromatography products (LPLC/HPLC preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot, test, repair, and service complex technical equipment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules based on customer needs.
- High customer orientation with a strong focus on providing excellent service.
- Strong team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications used for field service management.
- Good command of spoken and written English for clear and professional communication.
