Job Summary
This position will independently handle testing and characterization of materials for new technology development & new product commercialization. The Engineer will have the responsibility to complete analysis, characterization, data generation & interpretation within defined timelines.
Essential Functions
- Operating the instruments related to Analytical testing (like FTIR, TGA, DSC, TCD, PSA, HT-GPC, etc.)
- Actively participate in project discussions with the R&D Team
- Comfortable with troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- Drafting SOPs for analytical methods
- Skilled at maintaining detailed records and providing reports
- Ensure housekeeping and safe work practices in the lab
- Skilled at using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Creative and demonstrates analytical aptitude
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s – Chemistry or Equivalent Experience
- R&D & Technology – Technology/R&D
- Personal Skills – Stress Management, Statistical Skills, Research, Self-Motivated, Analytical Skills, Time/Priority Management, Ability to Multitask, Work Independently, Technical Writing, Work on a Team
- Software Skills – Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
