Job Description
Job Title: Analytical Chemist
We are seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist with expertise in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) to support supplement product development. The ideal candidate will conduct analytical testing, method validation, and experimental design while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain HPLC and AAS instruments for accurate testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure instruments function reliably.
- Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished Products.
- Analyze purity, composition, and concentration of active ingredients.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal and regulatory use.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for ingredient testing.
- Ensure methods comply with industry regulations and are accurate, reproducible, and reliable.
- Perform moisture content analysis (Karl Fischer titration), density measurements, and stability studies.
- Dissolution and disintegration testing will be conducted to assess product consistency.
- Maintain accurate lab records for all experiments, procedures, and test results.
- Ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance and internal audits.
- Work closely with the formulation & quality control teams to improve product development.
- Provide analytical insights to enhance product quality & efficiency.
Qualifications Required for Analytical Chemist Job Position:
- BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in analytical testing (preferably in supplements/pharma).
- Hands-on experience with HPLC & AAS is a must.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
