About PhD/Research Fellow BITS Pilani:
Immediate Opening for One positions of Research Fellow (RF) in a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India, sponsored project, “Development of indigenous medical radiation dosimeter based on organic field-effect transistors (DosFET)”.”
Deserving candidates may be considered for PhD program at BITS-Pilani if he/she meets the requirements of PhD qualification process as per the institute norms. Also, Institute Fellowship will be considered after completion of the project fellowship.
Scope of work:
- Develop a flexible organic field effect transistor (OFET) for ionizing radiation dosimetry.
- Calibration of OFET against commercially available dosimeters, onsite & offsite.
Essential Qualification for PhD/Research Fellow BITS Pilani:
M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical / Chemical Engineering / Materials Science or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications:
- Working / Hands-on knowledge in cleanroom practices, semiconductor fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics & ionizing radiation physics (with related equipment handling) would be a plus.
Emoluments (as per DST norms):
RF: ₹37,000 per month (+27% HRA, if applicable)
Duration:
36 months (will be considered for financial support during the remaining PhD duration as per the policy, if selected for the BITS-Pilani PhD programme)
