Summary:
The Life Cycle Assessment Analyst will support Corporate Sustainability group in conducting life cycle assessments of products and processes to identify and quantify the environmental
impacts associated with each stage of our product’s life, thereby elevate sustainability in Momentive towards our vision of providing Solutions for a Sustainable WorldTM. In this highly visible role, the expert will collaborate with stakeholders to develop tools, compile and interpret data, and communicate the LCA results to clients and stakeholders, both internal and external to Momentive. This position is responsible for LCA support for all Business Segments and functions.Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct life cycle assessments of products and processes to identify and quantify environmental impacts
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to provide recommendations for reducing environmental impact
- Work on enhancements/automations for analyzing environmental impact
- Compile, analyze, and interpret data on environmental performance
- Stay updated with LCA methodologies and regulations
- Deliver reporting for various user groups
- Assist in standardization/automation initiatives
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the chemical industry
- Experience with LCA assessments and reporting
- Competent computer skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
