Your Key Responsibilities as a Chemical & Process Science Technician
- Perform complex experiments and analysis using a wide range of laboratory equipment.
- Conduct literature and patent searches for projects using resources like scifinder and reaxys.
- Responsible for laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
- Optimize processes and transfer to pilot plant or commercial plant.
- Purify compounds and identify components using analytical techniques.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of lab experiments.
- Promote and enforce the company’s SHE guidelines and rules in the lab and site.
You Bring
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Preferably Organic Chemistry).
- Exposure to analytical techniques like IR, NMR, Mass, HPLC, GC, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Process safety and Process engineering.
- Understanding of pilot plant or industrial plant operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar industries.
