Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer I at Waters, you will be responsible for:
- Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Waters’ comprehensive product suite, including LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, and Informatics systems.
- Establishing and maintaining effective, positive relationships with both external and internal customers, ensuring their ongoing success with our products.
- Effectively managing customer expectations regarding service timelines and providing clear follow-up plans to keep them informed.
- Delivering comprehensive system-level training to customers at their sites, empowering them to utilize our instruments effectively.
- Collaborating with the Sales team to identify potential future business development opportunities within your territory.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or another relevant science-related field is highly desired.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, support, or end-user utilization of sophisticated scientific instrumentation.
- Skills:
- A strong customer-centric approach with a genuine dedication to exceeding customer expectations.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage your schedule efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- A strong analytical mindset with a proactive drive to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
Travel
This is a field-based position that requires travel within your designated territory across India. You may also have occasional opportunities to travel internationally for various company activities.
