Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) based in Chennai.
The Junior Research Fellow will engage in day-to-day research activities, including conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and writing research reports. The JRF will collaborate with senior researchers, assist in preparing research proposals, and participate in academic meetings and conferences. Additionally, the JRF is expected to stay updated with the latest scientific literature and contribute to the writing and publishing of research papers.
Qualifications
- Research-oriented skills, including data collection, data analysis, and computational chemistry and drug design and modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for writing research reports and publishing papers
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a research team
- Familiarity with scientific literature and current research trends
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Physics and Material Science)
- Experience with specific research methods or techniques relevant to the field of study is a plus
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic research environment
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in research and data analysis
