Brief Job Overview
This is a non-supervisory position to support the development of Reference materials. The successful applicant will work on projects including Analytical Method Development for in-process samples for the synthetic lab, conducting various analytical tests, and contributing to research projects in the analytical department.
Responsibilities for Job Opportunity for Chemistry Graduates
- [60%] Support to reaction monitoring, scale up, and final analysis of samples as per monograph/in-house procedures including method development if required.
- [15%] Prepare, execute, and complete IQ/OQ/PQ of new instruments and maintain GLP & safety procedures while working in the lab.
- [10%] Responsible for preparation of SOPs, protocols, reports, etc. Ensure equipment calibrations and project requirements.
- [10%] Preparation and planning for ISO-9001 certification/recertification by participating actively and addressing audit issues.
- [5%] Practice Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging principles at USP India.
Qualifications
- MSc. in Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry/M. Pharm
- 3-6 years of experience in Analytical Research and Development
- Hands-on experience with instruments like HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Visible, wet chemistry, etc.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP environment and documentation
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Additional Preferences
- Knowledge of handling LCMS
- Experience with electronic notebook documentation and related software
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
