Job Description
Essential Qualification: M. Tech. / ME in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Nanoscience and Engineering/ Nanotechnology/ Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ or equivalent (with first division as defined by the awarding Institute / University); or Master degree in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science (with first division as defined by the awarding Institute /University).
Desirable Qualification Required for Junior Research Fellow
Knowledge and experience in Physical Metallurgy, Mechanical Metallurgy, Materials Characterization, Solid-state physics, and Basic Electrochemistry.
Age Limit
Maximum 28 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates)
Fellowship
Rs. 37,000 per month (for the first two years) + HRA as per institute rules
Rs. 42,000/- per month (for the third year) + HRA as per institute rules
Admission to PhD Program
Candidates may also be considered for admission to the Ph.D. program under the FA category depending upon the eligibility criteria given by the Department of MEMS, IIT Indore.
