Job Title: PS Assistant
Summary:
This role ensures business continuity and growth by managing regulatory compliance for the company’s products and activities. You will execute transactional processes to maintain day-to-day compliance with hazard communication regulations for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, focusing on the Safety Data Sheet and label generation and maintenance.
Responsibilities of an Assistant:
- Contribute to hazard communication processes, data management, and process improvements.
- Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for materials using standard systems, adhering to regional regulatory requirements.
- Interact with global customers, suppliers, and internal functions to support hazard communication and regulatory compliance.
- Support change management through Notification of Change (NOC) processes.
- Enhance knowledge of Momentive’s product portfolio and hazard communication regulations through training.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering/Pharma or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in chemical/petrochemical industries or related to Product Stewardship, Regulatory Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, or Occupational Safety.
- Good English verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Computer literacy in standard office systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SAP.
- Affinity with data analysis tools.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
