Key Responsibilities
Chemical & Physical Analysis
- Conduct laboratory testing on natural gas feedstock, refrigerants, water, process streams, and final products, including LNG, mixed LPG, and condensate.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results, maintaining strict adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
Laboratory Operations & Equipment Management
- Prepare standard chemical solutions and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, coordinating with OEMs for technical support when required preferred for Laboratory Technician FLNG Project.
- Manage laboratory waste, ensuring safe handling and disposal.
Environmental Compliance & Safety
- Perform environmental sampling and analysis, including flue gas emissions and water quality assessments.
- Maintain compliance with HSE standards, conducting safety checks and participating in audits required for Laboratory Technician FLNG Project.
- Monitor pressurized gas cylinders, maintain storage inventory, and issue requisitions for replenishment.
General Laboratory & Process Support
- Assist in maintaining chemical and glassware inventory.
- Ensure the laboratory is well-organized, hazard-free, and operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Laboratory Supervisor to uphold high standards of analysis and reporting.
Pre-Qualifications for Laboratory Technician FLNG Project:
- Experience: 4–6 years in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with LNG operational experience.
- Certifications: BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (required); French (intermediate) is an advantage.
