Job Description

Designation: Downstream Process Development – Research Associate

Job Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Principal Investigator

Key Result Areas of Syngene Hiring: Research AssociateRole-specific:

  • Execution of laboratory experiments and documenting them in detail in an electronic laboratory notebook.
  • General lab maintenance and inventory management.
  • Should be able to draft experimental protocol and get it reviewed by the team lead.
  • Execution of DSP of laboratory experiments.
  • Documenting the experiment in detail in an electronic laboratory notebook and in soft copies.
  • Drafting of reports, protocols, and tech transfer documents.

Education for Syngene Hiring: Research Associate

Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.

Industry Experience

Minimum 3-6 years of relevant practical experience in downstream process development for biopharmaceuticals, specifically with CHO cell lines for monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, etc.

Other competencies required for the role

  • Lab and inventory management.
  • Forecasting of material required in a given project where he has been assigned a role.
