R&D Chemist I
Position Summary:
Responsible for product development, selection of suitable raw material, daily analysis, maintenance and calibration of instruments, handling of sophisticated instruments, and customer technical support.
What will you do?
- Manage the process of product development in the Technical Centre, meeting the needs of the customers in the most cost-efficient way.
- Recommend, initiate, and execute programs to maintain the current market share or provide further growth of the assigned product groups through Technology upgradation and application Research.
- Provided service to customers, sales managers, product application managers, process engineers, and technical service specialists by providing chemical-technical assistance.
- Develop and implement guidelines regarding formulations, equipment, and test methods. Issue and guard “best practices”.
- Encourage ‘Best Practices’ and knowledge-sharing sessions with peers. Lead the transfer of technology from one geographical region to another.
- Follow safety rules and obey the core values of the organization.
Required Education and Experience:
- M. Sc. in the field of chemistry (Physical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry) / B.Sc-B.Tech (Oil Technology).
- Preferable 0-3 years in R&D Institute/Labs or Chemical Industries.
- Preferable from Chemical Industries.
