Job Overview
The primary purpose of the role is to perform complex testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, as well as maintain and calibrate analytical instruments in compliance with cGMP standards. This is a night shift role.
Reporting Structure: Directly reports to AQC Group Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine/non-routine testing, both wet chemistry and instrumental analysis.
- Testing of raw materials, APIs, finished products, stability samples, and cleaning verification samples
- Proficient at HPLC/GC analysis
- Document laboratory work according to GDP, cGMPs, and SOPs
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain instruments as required
- Prepare and label laboratory reagents, reference standards, or solutions
Education required for Chemist II role at Piramal
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field
Experience required for Chemist II role at Piramal
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in quality control work within a laboratory

- High proficiency in operating Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
