Supervisor’s Job Summary: Associate Scientist or Group Leader
Job Scope/ Summary:
Perform and document results of regularly requested exposure tests. Compare and report results. Generate accurate and high-quality reports and support overall departmental needs.
Essential Functions
- Preparation/application of Exposure Panels: Proper labeling and report generation.
- Exposure Dashboards Maintenance: Ensure correct data entry.
- Internal Benchmarking Projects: Conduct and report on benchmarks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain exposure test equipment.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the supervisor.
- Weathering Instruments: Maintain all accelerated weathering instruments.
- Project Support: Assist various departments as needed.
- Data Presentation: Test samples, maintain records and present data to product stewards.
- Responsibilities: Follow company and lab best practices and housekeeping procedures.
Job Qualification as Jr. Lab Technician at Behr Paint
Experience/Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with experience in chemical analysis.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in math and chemistry, effective communication, and presentation skills.
Special Requirements
Proficiency in all areas of the Exposure department classification.
