Job Description:
Purpose of Pharmacovigilance Associate Role:
The purpose of the Pharmacovigilance Associate role at Novotech is to monitor and manage safety aspects of clinical studies/post-marketing surveillance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage project-specific activities
- Conduct case processing activities and drafting safety narratives
- Participate in clinical study reconciliation activities
- Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory agencies
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Registered nurse/pharmacist or with health/biomedical degree or
related qualification requiredExperience:
2-4 years of pharmaceutical/CRO experience in safety-related areas
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of clinical trials and pharmacovigilance requirements
- Experience in coding medical terminologies and safety report submission
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to work in specific databases
- Good interpersonal skills and time management capabilities
