This is to inform all applicants that the deadline (17th Feb 2025) for submitting applications for 05 posts of Project JRF OR Project Associate-I at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, Gujarat in Advt. No. MEMED/TheMatChem/MOES/2025/01 has been extended.
The new deadline for submission is 4th March 2025.
All other terms and conditions of the job advertisement remain unchanged. Interested candidates who have not yet applied are encouraged to submit their applications before the revised deadline.

Essential Qualifications
Project JRF: M.Sc. in Chemical/Physical sciences (Organic/ Inorganic/ Physical/ Applied Chemistry) and a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests including CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE, or b) Selection through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE
, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, IMCR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.Monthly Emoluments: Rs 37000/- + HRA for Project JRF
Age: Maximum 28 years for Project JRF as on the last date of application.
OR
Project Associate-I: M.Sc. in Chemistry
Monthly Emoluments: Rs 25000/- + HRA for Project Associate-I
Age: Maximum 35 years for Project Associate-I as of the last date of application.
Job Description: The selected candidate will work on a funded project involving the synthesis and characterization of functionalized molecules for uranium extraction from seawater.

Duration of the Project: The initial appointment is for one year and may be extended upon satisfactory performance upto 3 years.
