Job Description – Executive I – Production Ankleshwar
As part of the Executive I – Production Ankleshwar role, you will oversee critical production activities, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective team management. The job is vital for achieving production targets and maintaining the company’s high standards in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to the production process as per laid down procedures and instructions
- Carry out required transactions and process records in SAP
- Update Safety, Environmental, and Quality Records regularly
- Report to Superiors on the progress of the plan/production details and other issues within the section
- Plan shift activities with respect to manpower, machines, batches, etc
- Close coordination with other sections (Packing) and all service departments to ensure timely completion of production target
- Handling of shopfloor issues and taking appropriate actions to minimize the production & breakdown losses
- Deploy operators in every shift and ensure batch charging/processing as per the planning schedule
- Leading and supervising the shift-based team (operators & contractors) on a shift-to-shift basis
- Ensure all in-process checks are carried out as per process guidelines
- Fill up the shift report of the shift and update efficiency records for all the operators at the shift end
- Capture all equipment breakdowns, Unsafe Acts, Unsafe conditions, waste generation in respective portals
- Ensuring a smooth transition of shift changeover with a proper handover–takeover process
- Ensuring availability of raw materials, PPE & production consumable items
- Ensure proper shop floor and machine/equipment hygiene
- Maintaining the 5S of the section
- Active participation in maintaining safety, environment & health initiatives of the organization
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: Knowledge of production processes, preferably in the supply chain.
- Skills: Proficiency in SAP, excellent coordination, and leadership abilities.
