As an Technology Deployment Manager-Industrial, you would provide technical support and manage product development projects for assigned customer and OEM accounts in the Industrial lubricant area. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple technical projects, have strong interpersonal and communications skills, and work well in teams.
What We’re Looking For (Responsibilities) in Technology Deployment Manager Lubrizol:
- Understand customer/OEM needs and develop comprehensive project plans including scope, goals, timelines, and resources required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and define project objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and continuously communicate project progress, risks, and issues to team members and senior management.
- Create and manage project budget, tracking expenses with alignment of global practices.
- Optimize product platform and complete necessary testing to develop commercialized products for OEMs and oil company customers.
- Provide general technical support for assigned customers and OEMs and other internal colleagues.
- Estimate and develop long-term future project plans according to the market need in the segment. (Scope, objectives, milestones, resources, and economics).
- Hands-on experience on product/formulation development for Metalworking Fluids & Greases.
- Ready to work in the lab whenever required for the development activities.
- Complete timely customer reports, data presentations.
- Accurately collate, interpret, and present data.
- Develop solutions based on facts, data, and logical assumptions.
- Work with internal and external test laboratories to ensure sufficient resource allocation for business demands.
Skills That Make a Difference for Technology Deployment Manager Lubrizol:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
- 5-8 years overall work experience, with at least 3 years in laboratory development.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially PowerPoint & Excel
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for customer visits, technical conferences, support field trial activities, etc.
