Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to oversee day-to-day production operations, including guiding and coaching employees, ensuring equipment safety and maintenance, and executing batch manufacturing activities. Responsibilities also include documentation review, maintaining product quality, coordinating training, conducting initial incident investigations, and managing process orders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Adhere to the SOP’s and other laid down procedures in the production area
- Follow and adhere to the company safety norms, company policies, and procedures in the departments
- Ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures in the departments
- Preparation and review of alarm trending of equipment
- Ensure that the qualification, validation, calibration of equipment and process validation are done as per schedule and requirement
- Execution of manufacturing plan as per schedule
- Responsible for activities like dispensing and manufacturing (coating, imprinting, and inspection) as per production plan
- Perform on-line entries in GMP documents like BMR’s, log-books, etc., as per Good Documentation practice through manually or MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
- Perform operation & changeover of machines, troubleshooting, etc., as per SOP’s and instructions of seniors
- Follow personnel hygiene practices
- Coordinate with the research and development and manufacturing sciences and technology team for planning and execution of the Exhibit Batches in the manufacturing department
- Coordinate with the supervisor and other related departments for smooth functioning
- Preparation of disinfectant solution as per the schedule and respective SOP’s
- Ensure timely completion of calibration & preventive maintenance activities of manufacturing equipment’s
- Coordinate with the engineering department to reduce manufacturing breakdown time and ensure proper rectification of the problems occurred
- Ensure on-time completion of assigned SOP training’s
- Review area environment monitoring trends
- Review executed eBMR & workflows and ensure the submission to IPQA department on time
- Review the audit trail reports of equipment
- Perform any task/project assigned by HOD
- Maintain team area readiness to meet current regulatory compliance & norms
- Operation and cleaning of equipment and area
- Have an idea on OPL, KAIZENS, 5S, and AWW
Qualifications
Educational Qualification: D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, or any other Diploma
Minimum Work Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience
Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of MES, Coating
- Knowledge and experience in OSD manufacturing
- Good understanding of GMP and good laboratory practices
- Experience in operation of coating equipment
Behavioral Skills
- Proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges in manufacturing processes
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, promoting a cooperative and inclusive work environment
- Efficient time management to meet production schedules and deadlines without compromising quality
- Effective communication and training skills for user departments and service providers
