Department: R&D
Role: Research Scientist – R&D
Qualification: PhD/Post Doc. (Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry or relevant field)
Experience: 0-5 years in CRO industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex organic transformations and techniques independently.
- Independently propose and select literature procedures for transformations.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks with clear descriptions of reaction schemes, stoichiometry, results, and observations per SOP.
- Scale up reactions from milligrams to gram quantities efficiently and consistently.
- Prepare and update reports, tracking sheets, and productivity sheets regularly as per project requirements.
- Contribute to writing patents, scientific publications, and internal reports based on lab results.
- Conduct activities in strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and waste disposal regulations.
- Train and manage Research Associates (RA) in chemistry techniques, EHS, and QA as required.
- Liaise with clients when necessary, understanding their requirements and ensuring project delivery in line with client expectations.
