Discover Impactful Work:
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and support of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s range of IC (ion chromatography) and HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) instruments in a professional, reliable, and customer-oriented manner.
- Train customers in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Meet customer SLA and internal critical metric objectives.
- Achieve service revenue budget by championing company products, developing strong customer relationships, and working closely with commercial and operations teams.
- Be highly responsive and proactive in addressing customer needs and maintain close relationships with Company Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to assure quality outcomes for all service & product issues raised.
- Conduct employment responsibilities in an efficient and commercially appropriate manner.
Education
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or Bachelor’s in Engineering.
Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing IC (ion chromatography) and HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Conduct on-site installation of IC and HPLC equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure accurate working order.
- Perform on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel.
- Complete and submit field service reports.
- Train customers and users on system maintenance.
- Provide feedback to product quality teams and identify outstanding issues with the system.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and group objectives and resolve routine customer concerns.
