Job Characteristics:
- Demonstrates use and application of standard chemistry, project management, and other relevant principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to assignments where precedents may exist.
- Provides solutions to a variety of problems which require collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources to solve problems.
- Demonstrates initiative and open-mindedness to identify and try new and different approaches.
- Contributes to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes, and systems.
Education/Work Experience:
- Degree or Advanced degree in chemistry or related discipline.
- Degree and 2 to 4 years or advanced degree and 1 to 3 years of related experience.
Independence Level/Reports to:
- Works under limited supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects to determine and develop approach to meet desired objectives.
- May lead projects/experiments/research with limited scope and complexity.
- Normally reports to project/program leader or more senior technical leader.
