In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting, analyzing, and controlling fragrance manufacturing processes, procedures, and regulations to maintain or improve the quality of production processes and efficiency, and to ensure and execute compliance at every stage of the process.
- Providing support to the Quality Managers by performing timely analysis of report data from multiple sources.
- Being responsible for the ongoing collection and reporting of quality metrics; gathering all complaint data, manufacturing site, and supplier quality metrics and analyzing for trends, and reporting appropriately.
- Writing and revising standard operating procedures.
- Implementing quality assurance regulations.
- Participating in continuous improvement processes for simplifying quality and manufacturing-related processes while also driving improvements in quality effectiveness.
- Liaising with external vendors, contractors, or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization’s quality standards.
- Supporting quality training coordination.
- Updating and maintaining all departmental technical documents and procedural manuals.

Your professional profile includes:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Overall work experience of 3 to 5 years.
Technical Skills:
- Instrumentation: Handling of instruments like GC, GCMS, Auto titrator, Flash point, Melting point, Specific gravity, Polarimeter, Refractive Index.
- Disposition of Raw Materials and Outgoing Finished Goods: The received raw materials and finished goods are analyzed as per the tests mentioned in the inspection instruction. The received RMs are verified by looking into the MUI approved list in case of Halal requirements. Enter the data into SAP and dispose accordingly. The counter sample is to be labeled and stored in the cold room.
- Production: Samples received from production will be analyzed and reported back to them. Document requests for MSDS and flash points are issued to them for dispatch purposes.
- Reference Updation: Regular monitoring of the expiry date of references and replacing them with new ones, ensuring traceability in time.
- Control Sample and Documentation: Maintenance and quick retrieval of control samples, filing, and maintenance of the documents.
- Analysis of NID & EXP Status Material: Ensures all materials are analyzed in NID status to prevent expiry.
- 5S, GMP & Laboratory Chemicals Inventory: Maintenance of the lab to always be spick and span, along with maintenance of chemical inventory and consumables. Following up on GMP adherence in the lab as well for batch release.
