About the job
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures to optimize production processes and minimize defects.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to document non-conformities, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior QA chemists and production teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or relevant discipline (preferred).
- 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance within the copper industry.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting quality tests, analyzing data, and implementing QA processes.
- Proven track record of ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
