Your responsibilities will include conducting product demonstrations, training users, and providing ongoing technical assistance. You’ll work closely with both the sales team and R&D, contributing to product development by offering insights based on user feedback and market trends. Responsibilities
- Understanding the needs of researchers and scientists in various fields to ensure that the instruments and analysis outcomes meet their requirements. This may involve troubleshooting issues, providing guidance on instrument usage, and helping customers achieve their research or analytical goals.
- Provide training and educational resources to customers, helping them understand how to use instruments effectively and get the most value from them.
- Assist customers with data analysis and interpretation.
- Provide scientific leadership in the field of vapor sorption studies (DVS and IGC methods) and solid-state characterization.
- Conduct testing of prospective customer samples and generate comprehensive scientific sample analysis reports.
- Deliver international scientific presentations through posters, oral presentations, and webinars. Participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars, to present the company’s products and provide insights into their applications.
- Offer feedback and insights to improve sales and business strategies.
- Author scientific papers, reports, and progress reports.
- Visit potential future customers internationally, partnering with sales staff.
- Support sales efforts by collaborating with the marketing team.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to our clients.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
Must Have
- A minimum of Master’s degree (MSc, MEng, or MPhil.) or a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
- Experience in designing and conducting experiments, collecting, and analyzing data, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- The ability to identify and solve technical challenges and issues related to applications and products.
- Experience and expertise in the physical characterization of solid-state materials.
- Experience with Windows® (Windows 7/10/11) and Microsoft Office 2016 or later office suites or operating systems.
- Experience in handling software used for documentation (e.g., Amplelogic, ELN, Odoo).
- Comfortable presenting in front of customers and events.
- Being a team player is essential.
- Proficiency in English for presentations.
Nice to have
- Expertise in thermal analysis, advanced materials characterization, and vapor sorption studies (DVS and IGC methods preferred).
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to deliver scientific lectures and presentations.
- Excellent writing skills for preparing reports, documentation, and research papers.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, porous, or complex organic materials is advantageous.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, like engineers, researchers, product managers, and sales teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Additional training will be provided on an “as-needed” basis.
