Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
We (Dr. Pydi Ganga Bahubalindruni and Dr. Sweta Lal) are looking for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the project titled “Flexible Electronics for Compact Self-powered Paper-based Analytical Device for Uric Acid Sensing in Human Urine.” The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the “Scheme for Transformational and Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS).”

Post: Junior Research Fellow, JRF (Vacancy-1).
Salary: INR 31,000/- plus HRA per month (HRA is as per the Institute’s policy).
Duration: Initially for 6 months, extendable up to 18 months based on the candidate’s performance and availability of the funds.
Age limit: 28.
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering OR Master’s degree (MSc) in Chemistry.
- Selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process is conducted through National level examinations conducted by MHRD and its Agencies and Institutions such as UGC/IIT/IISc/IISER/IIIT etc.
PS: Candidates who fulfill the degree requirements but have not qualified any National level examination may also apply, however, the salary offered will be as per the Institute norms for Project Associate-1.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in Electrochemistry/Electrochemical engineering and material synthesis.
- Knowledge of material characterization techniques (physical, chemical, and electrochemical) and results analysis.
- Scientific reporting skills are also desirable.

- Degree/Mark Sheets pertaining to Graduation and Post-Graduation.

- Scanned copy of scorecards of any national level qualifying exam (GATE, NET, or equivalent).
The selected candidate is required to join by 4th October, 2024 (may be extended).
