Quality Assurance Chemist
POSITION PURPOSE
- To assure the quality of all Manufacturing Sites, including Tollers.
- Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality systems, and Excellence programs at the Country Level. Support in the implementation of quality programs driven by the Regional and Global Quality community & Quality Objectives.
YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participate in the development & validation of methods
- NABL documentation
- Customer complaint handling
- Specification management: Prepare and maintain raw material, finished product specifications & work instructions/SOP based on global/BIS standards
- QA Inspection of all packed FG before release for sale
- Quality Audits of Tolling Sites
- Handling of SAP-QM module
- Marking of analytical standards & sending to Govt. testing Labs
- New Product Launches
- Supporting the product defense marketing team
- Independent handling of all laboratory testing equipment
- Support in enhancing Quality performance at mfg. sites by regularly analyzing intermediate testing of Tollers & market samples
- Ensure the smooth functioning of analytical instruments and ensure minimum downtime
- Adopt safe work practices and good housekeeping
- Calibration of analytical instruments
- Maintaining all SOP/work instructions in My Doc. (global tool)
- Maintaining the stock of all Bayer’s product analytical standards procured from Bayer AG

- All Manufacturing Sites QC Managers

WHO YOU ARE
- M.Sc. (Chemistry)
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in pesticide testing laboratories
- Should be conversant with analytical techniques and possess computer skills
- Practical knowledge of operating GLC/HPLC/Particle size analyzer, Viscometer & other advanced analytical instruments
- Thorough knowledge of various pesticides formulations, BIS FAO, CIPAC guidelines, ISO 9001, and NABL
