National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R) is an autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an act of parliament, to impart high-quality Education & Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institute invites applications for one position of Student Internship under DST-SERB Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) program (SERB project SRG/2022/001741). The details are as follows:
Name of the Position: Student Intern (One)
Title of project: “Neurobehavioral and molecular neuroplasticity differences in stress response circuitry for resilience and vulnerability for post-traumatic stress disorder”
Qualification and Experience:
Essential Qualifications: Enrolled student in postgraduate science [M. Pharm/M.Sc. (Pharmacology/Neuroscience/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Physiology/Life Science)
Student Assistantship: Rs 5000/- per month for a maximum two-month duration only
Duration: Two (2) months only starting from 1st August 2024.

Candidates may also note the following points:
- Application once submitted cannot be altered/resubmitted, under any circumstances. Further, no request with respect to making changes in any data/particular entered by the candidate in the application will be entertained once the application is submitted.
- NIPER Raebareli reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates. The project team will have the right to put any screening criteria in case large numbers of applications are received.
- Students will be selected based on their academic profile and CV relevant to the project/research field. Selected candidates will be intimated by email only regarding their selection.
- The internship shall start tentatively from 1st August 2024 at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Bijnor-Sisendi Road, Sarojini Nagar, Near CRPF Base Camp, Lucknow. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail/Mobile, and no separate interview letter will be issued for the same.
- Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview.
- The offer of student internship is purely temporary in nature for two months only and does not confer any right for absorption or regular studentship in NIPER Raebareli.
- Student intern will have to make their own arrangements for stay during the internship period.
