Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” under the following research project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India.
Title of the Research Project: Selective chemical modifications of nucleic acids for biological applications
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (01 No.)
Qualification & Experience:
- M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (preferably with a specialization in organic chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute and having minimum 60% Marks or CGPA of 8 on a scale of 10. Previous laboratory experience in organic synthesis is necessary.
- Candidates who have qualified CSIR/UGC NET or GATE with a rank of 1000 or better will be preferred.
Age Limit: Preferably below 28 years of age.
Salary: Rs. 37,000/- p.m. + HRA.
Duration: 6 months renewable until end of project.
