Age – Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes as on normal closing in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with instructions or orders issued by Central Government.

Probation – 02(Two) Years

Headquarters – National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), New Delhi

Other Details – General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non Ministerial. The post is permanent.

Any Other Conditions 1. Leprosy Cured persons are suitable for the post of Research Officer (Chemistry) subject to the condition that their upper limbs are functioning normally. 2. Acid attack victims are suitable for

the post of Research Officer (Chemistry) provided that their vision and hearing have not been impaired.

Pay Scale – Level – 8 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100/-) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately.

Essential Qualification (s)

Educational – 

A- EDUCATIONAL

Master Degree in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.

Note 1 The qualification (s) are relaxable at the discretion of Union of Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified

B. Experience-

Three years experience in teaching and research in quality control of insecticides or anti-malarials, under any of the Schemes of the Central Government or State Government.

Duty(ies):

1. Training and research in chemical procedures and techniques related to NBDCP.
2. Quality control of insecticides manufactured at DDT plants and research in the analytical procedures.
3. To assist Assttt. Director (Chemistry) / Toxicologist to check the quality control of anti-malarial drug.
4. Any other duties assigned by the Director.

   available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
3. Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
4. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
