The Opportunity
- Finished product testing and analytical method development using HPLC, GC, IC, UV, etc.
- Analytical method validation and transfers, analysis of API, and finished product R&D samples.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Analyze solid oral dosage (e.g., dissolution, assay, CU, BU, related substances, etc.).
- Analyze samples received from the Formulation department, including in-process, finished product, pre-formulation study samples, and stability samples.
- Conduct analytical method development and validation for in-process samples and finished products.
- Perform analytical method transfer activities to QC in Goa.
- Handle and test high-potent compounds/molecules.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments for difficulties during day-to-day operations.
- Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments (e.g., qualification, keeping track of AMC, history, spares, usage records, etc.).
- Conduct literature search for developing analytical methods.
- Ensure all activities are executed within the framework of good laboratory and documentation practices and adhere to existing quality systems.
- Follow safe practices during activities and strictly adhere to the EHS systems of the site.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- M.Sc. / M. Pharm. / Ph.D.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of chemistry, analytical method development, method validation, transfer, instrumental methods of analysis, and a logical approach.
- Hands-on experience with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ion chromatography, UV, and dissolution apparatus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for different markets (US, EU, Canada, etc.).
- Understanding of ICH guidelines, forced degradation studies, and impurity profiles.
