Core Purpose of the Role:
You are responsible for providing support of studies aimed at determining the toxicokinetics (TK) / pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of biologically active compounds or new candidate drugs in body fluids and tissues of laboratory animals.
Developing and executing protocols/plans in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry regulatory guidelines (GLP).
You will be familiar with conducting all work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements governing the work in which they are involved, such as GLP.
Role Accountabilities:
- Plans, designs, analyzes, interprets and reports toxicokinetic (TK)/ pharmacokinetic (PK)/pharmacodynamic (PD) data for GLP and non-GLP studies.
- Experience in handling Phoenix WinNonlin software.
- Prepares TK/PK/PD components of study reports.
- Provides accurate and timely project status/updates to customers.
- Reads, understands and follows SOPs, safety requirements, regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Demonstrates commitment to quality and animal welfare.
- Demonstrates a willingness to perform additional work as assigned by management.
- Develops, modifies and/or optimizes existing/new TK/PK/PD methods, techniques or procedures.
- Assists with training and developing employees.
- Expected to work independently, participate in process improvement initiatives and may function as a Principal Investigator or Individual Scientist.
- Other duties as assigned.

Specific requirements for this role:
Experience: 3-6 years
Skills and Capabilities:
- You should have good understanding and hands-on experience of toxicokinetic/ Pharmacokinetic. Preferably have knowledge of related disciplines, GLP, toxicology, and bioanalysis.
- Ideally, you should be working in or have experience within, contract research; but a successful candidate may also have experience from within pharmaceutical companies or have an academic background related to a toxicology discipline.
Education: MVSc /M. Pharm/ M.Sc.
