Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates
- Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery
- Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field or M. Pharma (Specialised in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years’ project experience.
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanism
- Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformation
- Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency
- Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction
- Good understanding of NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry
Behavioural Skills:
- Interest to adapt and knowledge of laboratory safety practices
- Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment
- Basic computer knowledge (MS-Word/Excel/Power point/Chemdraw)
- Good Soft & Scientific Communication skills
