Walk-in-Interview will be held on February 05, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Seminar Room of the Department of Biological Sciences, Unified Academic Campus, Bose Institute, Block – EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) position of Project Associate-I in the SERB sponsored project entitled “Cancer cell-specific CRISPR-Based Gene-Editing and Transcriptional Regulation to Reduce On-target Genotoxicity in Gene-therapy” under the guidance of Dr. Basudeb Maji, Department of Biological Sciences. The project is tenable upto 31.05.2024 and the position is coterminous with the project. Details of qualification, monthly Emoluments, age etc. are as follows:
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University. Specialization in Organic Chemistry will be preferred.
Desirable Qualification: Organic synthesis / Peptide chemistry or NET-LS / GATE.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- p.m., plus admissible 8% HRA
Age Limit: Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee with typed application stating Advertisement No. and Position addressed to the Registrar (Officiating), Bose Institute, Block – EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 along with Bio-data giving e-mail ID, Phone No., details of qualification from Secondary onwards and stating the area of research experience. The candidate should also bring the photocopy and original of the Mark-sheets and Certificates from Secondary onwards along with experience certificates at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the interview.
